Children just love to play and can find enjoyment in the simplest of activities. Keeping active isn’t just about feeling fitter it also helps children to improve their confidence and self-esteem and introduce a way of having fun and making friends. These following designs feature stylised characters of indeterminable ages engaging in simple recreation, activities that are commonplace and easy to access, colourful artworks to convey inspiration for all children.
Kite flying is perfect for whole families to engage in the wide outdoors, a perfect pastime for all weathers, as long as there’s a bit of breeze about.
An uncomplicated way of keeping children amused is to pick the seed-heads of the common dandelion and encourage them to blow the seeds away. Each blow accompanied by calling out how long it takes to blow the whole ‘dandelion clock’ away, “one o’clock, two o’clock, etc.”
